Just a few ideas to get you planning ahead…
We are located between two ski resorts where you can enjoy time in the snow for skiing, snowboarding and tubing.
15 minutes away you will find Hickory Run State Park for a fun filled family day of hiking, swimming, picnicking, exploring Boulder Field and/or Hawk Falls.
For a day of biking check out the Rails to Trails (D:&L Trail) in White Haven.
Around the area there are many places to go and things to do. Whitewater rafting, golfing, shopping, dining, wineries, breweries, casinos, fishing, horseback riding and much more.
Visit the town of Jim Thorpe for shopping, train excursion, Asa Packer Mansion, restaurants and Pubs. Be sure to check out Jim Thorpe’s Fall Foliage Festival weekends during the month of October and then it’s time for Old Time Christmas. While in Jim Thorpe be sure to visit the Old Jail Museum, a 19th Century jail, where you can tour the cell block and the dungeon and to hear the story about the Molly McGuires and the mysterious handprint on the wall in one of the cell blocks.
Pocono Raceway is approximately 15 minutes away where you can enjoy a Nascar race or a Stock Car Driving Experience.
Many Specialty Shops to visit including The Hub, Callies Candy Kitchen, House of Candles, Country Junction, Country Kettle Candy & Gift Shop and many more.
A little over an hour away be sure to visit Knoebels Amusement Park in Elysburg, PA for a fun day with the family.
